Like the VW Beetle, the Citroën 2 CV was also developed back in the 1930s. More than 5 million units of the French „people‘s car“ were
manufactured during its production period of 1948 to 1990. While an early „duck“ with its 9 PS could still achieve a top speed of
around 60 km/h, later 2CVs with 29 PS were capable of as much as 115 km/h.
